Ikolas At It Again

The weather's been getting colder lately. Just the right stimulant for spawning. My Tropheus sp. black Ikolas have been doing the T dance more frequently. This particular pair was at it the whole day since I did a water change. Managed to catch some of their action.

The female returning the favour

Didn't get to see the female laying eggs though, but i am sure it's pretty soon.

Took a few more pics of my front tank...yes...can't get enough of it.

Betta Spawned

First big spawned. Cheekily tried to spawn my pair or copper bettas and it worked first time! Didn't even condition them with good, regular food. Was still feeding them NLS small fish formula once a day right until i released the female into the main spawn tank. All thanks to threads from Arofanatics and Petfrd, managed to pick up tips here and there.

Spotted the female.

Accepted into the Family

The 3 new fronts that I bought from bro Harlo have adapted well into the tank. Surprisingly these fella didn't hide behind the rocks like the other two wild caughts that I bought from bro Runbird. They would swim around freely from one end to the other, and as as result caused the other smaller ones to swim along as well. The tank looks so nice now.
